In the city of Şenyang, located in China's Liaoning province, flooding occurred in many areas due to severe rainfall. While many vehicles could not escape the flood and remained submerged underwater, a Bentley owner resorted to a highly unusual method to protect his car. As the surrounding water level rose, the vehicle owner managed to protect his luxury car from the floodwaters by suspending it in the air with a large crane.

Footage of the incident quickly spread on social media and attracted great interest from users. In the footage, where the wheels of a nearby yellow school bus are seen half-submerged in water, the scale of the flooding in the area also became clearly apparent. While internet users found the method effective, they made a witty remark stating that the car truly flew, referencing the Bentley's winged logo.

It was reported that the rainfall had been continuing for about a week and the flooding intensified as the external effects of the typhoon reached the region. On 14 July, the water level in some streets rose to an adult's knees, and local teams used rowboats to rescue stranded citizens. It was stated that after the waters began to recede the next day, tow trucks carrying damaged vehicles flocked to the area.
