Trump's Threat to Strike Iran's Power Plants and Bridges

US President Donald Trump stated in his remarks to Fox News that if Iran does not come to the negotiating table, they will destroy all of the country's power plants and bridges. As the US-Iran war continues to intensify, Trump emphasized that every target Iran possesses along its coastline is being attacked and that these operations will continue until he says 'enough'.

American forces targeted Kharg Island, Iran's main oil terminal in the Persian Gulf, twice. Trump stated that if Iranian forces are sufficiently repelled, taking control of the island is also on their agenda. Arguing that the only way to negotiate with Iran is through the use of force, the President stated that they are determined to maintain this strategy.

Regarding the status of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump announced that transit is open for Gulf countries and other interested parties, but is kept closed only for Iran. While stating that the US has to keep the strait open, Trump added that Gulf countries prefer to invest in the US in return for this situation, and that this is beneficial.
