Artificial Intelligence is Fundamentally Changing the Way Game Companies Operate

YOOZOO Interactive, one of the pioneering companies in China's gaming sector, is painting a picture that could be considered a turning point for the industry in AI integration. By providing AI agents to more than 75 percent of its employees, the company has equipped its workforce with digital assistants. CTO Wang Junsheng describes this transformation as assigning a one-to-one AI agent to every employee, with the company covering all computer costs. Furthermore, employees have gained unlimited access to 47 different AI models. This bold technological step by the company stands out as one of the strategic moves that has supported its international revenues exceeding domestic revenues for eleven years.

The company's AI journey began in 2023 with the use of Stable Diffusion for visual generation. The following year, GitHub Copilot systems were introduced to support code writing processes. The biggest breaking point in this field occurred in August 2025, when OpenAI developed an agent capable of building a one-million-line product from scratch. This technological leap paved the way for agent-based tools like Tencent Cloud WorkBuddy to be rolled out company-wide in early 2026. This process unlocked efficiency across a broad spectrum, from game development to operational management.

AI agents are currently having a profound impact on three core business scenarios of the company. In the first of these, the industrial intelligence phase, agents gather information from many different sources and evaluate this data by performing sentiment analysis through large language models. YOOZOO has accelerated the flow of information by developing a real-time notification bot that conveys important industry developments to all employees on the same day. In addition, a crowdsourced knowledge sharing portal where personnel can share their own observations has been integrated into the system. This structure enables market dynamics to be tracked much faster and more comprehensively.

The second key scenario occurs in the creative ad production processes, which provide a competitive advantage for global markets. Previously, a linear production line operated involving trend spotting, scenario writing, storyboarding, modeling, effects, and editing, where any delay in this chain negatively affected the entire process. Today, AI has taken over a large portion of this production chain, significantly shortening the time it takes for a creative concept to turn into a first draft. However, strategic decisions such as regional suitability, game category compatibility, and target audience analyses are still left to the final evaluation of human experts. This hybrid approach strikes a balance between rapid production and the preservation of cultural sensitivities.

The third scenario is revolutionizing the field of operational data analysis. Long-lasting games with continuous active users generate massive amounts of data every second, and in the past, waiting for a report template from data analysts was required to view specific metrics. YOOZOO eliminated this barrier by implementing the ChatBI system, which allows business teams to query data using natural language. In fact, the company completely ended the need for engineering intervention by transforming data platform capabilities into tools that business teams can directly integrate and call within their own agents. While the company's four internal systems have been completely transformed into an AI-friendly format, the transformation process continues for seven or eight more systems; according to company data, these integrations increase the gross margin by 2.46 points, directly reflecting positively on revenue.
