Ghanaian lawyer calls for removal of 'surety' requirement in bail conditions

Ghanaian lawyer Martin Kpebu criticized the bail conditions applied to Dennis Miracles Aboagye by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

Kpebu stated that beyond the 50 million Ghana cedis bail amount, the main problem is the requirement to prove property ownership. He stated that these processes are extremely complex and time-consuming.
