Although Jefferson explained the situation convincingly at Cavaliers practices, she said that the value of such content about the players' lives was not fully understood in those years and she rejected it at first. However, she eventually accepted this offer and expressed that this decision opened the doors that presented her with her current main role in her media career.

The podcast served as a springboard not only for Clifton but also for her collaborators Jefferson and Frye, launching their careers in the media world. Richard Jefferson is now a key member of ESPN's leading NBA broadcast team, while Channing Frye also took on roles in TNT's NBA broadcasts (before the channel stopped broadcasting) and continues to appear on various networks. Clifton says that the bond between them is not only professional but also a deep friendship, and although they talk almost every day, the 8-day separation during the return from the 2016 Cavaliers championship felt long to them and their communication decreased during that process.

The trio, who have been in constant communication since those years, frequently emphasize their commitment to each other and the 'family' atmosphere created by the podcast. Clifton notes that this WhatsApp group, dating back to the 2016 championship celebrations involving LeBron James and Kevin Love, is actually an example carried from a chat room to real life. Clifton describes this podcast experience as a kind of 'cheat code' and says that it deepened her perspective not just on talking, but on understanding the strategic and social aspects of the game and coordinating abilities.
