Fatal traffic accident in Amasya: 1 person lost their life, 3 people injured

In the Gözlek Village area of the Göynücek district of Amasya, a traffic accident occurred with such severity that it could be seen by security cameras. A minibus with license plate 05 M 4515 driven by İ.A. and an automobile with license plate 05 AFC 867 driven by S.A., which were traveling on the Amasya-Göynücek road, collided for an as yet undetermined reason. Due to the impact of the collision, 55-year-old Cafer Ak, who was a passenger in the back seat of the automobile, lost his life from the injuries he sustained at the scene, becoming the sole fatality of the accident. Following the immediate notification by the local residents, a large number of emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene.

Upon hearing news of the accident, health teams, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) personnel, gendarmerie forces, and fire crews quickly arrived at the scene. As a result of the intensive work of the teams, the body of 55-year-old Cafer Ak was taken to the morgue after the examination and sent to the relevant morgue for forensic autopsies. The other 3 injured people in the same vehicle were taken to hospitals in Amasya by ambulances after initial interventions at the scene.
