758 Million TL Electricity Investment for Artuklu

DEDAŞ Manager Halil Homan stated that with the completion of the 758 million lira electricity investment made in the Artuklu district, faults caused by wind, storms, and other external factors will decrease significantly. It was expressed that within the scope of the project, aging grid components will be renewed, and a modern and safe energy infrastructure will be established. Emphasizing that energy quality and service continuity will increase, Homan said they aimed for an uninterrupted electricity infrastructure. This investment includes the undergrounding of the electricity grid in addition to the infrastructure works such as drinking water, telecommunications, and natural gas that have intensified in Artuklu in recent years. Thus, it is expected that the city's aesthetics will improve and visual pollution will be eliminated.

Local residents expressed their satisfaction with the investment, stating that the reduction of power outages caused by weather conditions will positively affect daily life.
