BİLSEM 2026 Registration Process and Objection Dates Announced

According to the latest announcements by the Ministry of National Education, the individual evaluation process conducted to determine students eligible to study at Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM) for the 2026-2027 academic year has officially concluded. The calendar for the necessary registration procedures for students found successful as a result of these assessments, aimed at identifying students who exhibit superior performance in general mental abilities as well as in painting and music, has been finalized. The institution shared all details regarding this process, eagerly awaited by millions of parents, with the public by publishing an official calendar, thus eliminating uncertainties for families regarding the process.

According to the calendar determined by the Ministry, the official registration marathon begins for students placed in BİLSEM, covering a quite critical time period. The registration procedures for students who successfully left the individual evaluation stage behind and earned the right to receive education at the centers will start as of July 27, 2026, and will continue for approximately one month. Parents must take into account that the deadline for their children's registration is August 28, 2026, and are obliged to complete the necessary procedures within this period.

The manner in which the registration procedures will be conducted and local implementation details were also clarified by the Ministry, adopting a method to facilitate parents. By system, parents will carry out the registration procedures personally within the authorized science and art centers. Students' registrations will be made by applying in person to the responsible BİLSEM directorates located within the province or district boundaries of the schools where they currently receive formal education. Once this process is completed, students will officially start their education appropriate to their talent fields with the beginning of the new academic year.

Following the announcement of the evaluation results, there is a special objection process determined for families wishing to claim rights regarding the process or correct possible errors. The Ministry of National Education designated July 6 to July 10, 2026, as the official objection period for parents examining the results and thinking there is an error to submit their statements. It was emphasized that during this critical time frame, applications will only be accepted via the digital channel determined by the Ministry, and it was clearly stated that other means would be invalid.

Quite strict and clear rules were introduced by the Ministry regarding how the objection process will be conducted and the limitation of application channels. Parents wishing to exercise their right to object should know that no application they make outside the specified dates or on paper will be processed. Applications will be received entirely electronically only through the e-Objection module located at 'eitiraz.meb.gov.tr' and will be processed digitally. Thus, while aiming to make the process more transparent, fast, and easy to track, it was also reminded that the requests of families who miss the dates or use the wrong channel will be rejected.
