Under the coordination of the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a comprehensive study was initiated by the Eskişehir Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch teams against qualified fraud incidents. Within the scope of the investigation, the activities carried out by the suspect network through social media platforms and Google ads were deciphered. It was determined that high-return investment promises were made to citizens through these methods, and victims were directed to fake investment applications. It was determined that these systematically conducted activities aimed to misappropriate individuals' savings and used digital mediums as a criminal element.

Investigations clearly revealed that victims transferred money to different IBAN accounts, trusting the fake platforms created by the suspects. It was understood that the suspects produced visuals of gains far from reality on the applications to ensure investors continued in the system and thus made financial gains. It was announced that the total loss of the victims was 3 million 890 thousand 832 TL, while money movements showing the flow of this money, valued at approximately 40 million TL, were detected in suspect accounts.

As the investigation deepened, all connections of the criminal organization were reached, and a simultaneous operation was conducted on June 30, 2026, centered in Eskişehir and in the provinces of Antalya, Isparta, and Aydın. In the coordinated operation, as a result of technical and physical surveillance, a total of 12 suspects were detained. It was proven with materials seized during searches that the suspects lived using the income they obtained from criminal activities and tried to conceal this.

During searches at the suspects' residences and on their persons, numerous digital materials and cash, which were evidence of the crime, were seized. Accordingly, 21 thousand 700 euros, 195 thousand TL, 1 dummy gun, 12 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 tablet, 1 SIM card, 3 flash memory drives, and 11 credit cards containing credit were seized by police teams. Additionally, within the scope of the operation, material assets belonging to the network were seized, and 3 vehicles and 1 real estate property valued at approximately 7 million 500 thousand TL were temporarily included in the estate inventory.

It was reported that a decision was made to refer the detained suspects to judicial authorities after the completion of their procedures at the police station. Bank accounts and crypto asset accounts were also included in the assets of the criminal organization that worked on a multi-billion lira heist. In this context, assets valued at approximately 20 million TL found in bank accounts and crypto asset exchanges were frozen and liquidated for examination in the legal process. It was stated that the total seized and blocked assets were kept in custody to be used to compensate the victims.
