数据一览
The National Jewish Defense Center has asked the US First Circuit Court of Appeals to apply a 'substitution test' to assess whether anti-Semitism at Harvard University has decreased. The center argued that if black students had to hide their identities and remove their names from resumes to avoid racism at a university, no court would claim that racism has been 'cured'.
The center supported the Trump administration's appeal of a federal judge's decision to block the government's decision to freeze or terminate billions of dollars in grants and contracts related to Harvard's handling of anti-Semitism. While it is reported that open and blatant anti-Semitism at Harvard has decreased to some extent, the center argues that what matters is that a Jewish student can be openly and recognizably Jewish at Harvard without sacrificing their physical, mental, emotional, or academic safety or security.
