HMD, one of the smartphone manufacturers closely followed by the tech world, continues to work on the new version of the Skyline model it introduced in 2024. According to the latest information obtained from reliable industry sources, both the design details and hardware specifications of the HMD Skyline 2 have been brought to light. It is stated that the device will have a design line very similar to its predecessor, but will feature some improvements in key areas such as the camera and performance. Planned to be offered to users in three different color options—blue, black, and yellow—the phone aims to position itself in the upper-mid segment. According to the leaks, the official launch of the device is expected to take place in the very near future.

Looking at the device's design, the square-shaped camera module located in the top left corner of the smartphone stands out. This module is seen to feature two large and one small camera sensors, along with an LED flash. On the front of the phone, a thin-bezeled and hole-punch display design offering a modern look has been preferred. It is understood that the overall design language of the HMD Skyline 2 will remain almost identical to the previous generation, meaning there will not be a revolutionary difference in this regard. However, it should not be forgotten that this information is still in the leak phase, and the company's official announcements will provide more precise clarity.

On the hardware and display side, it is stated that the device will come with highly ambitious features. The HMD Skyline 2 is reported to be equipped with an OLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, which will provide users with an extremely fluid visual experience. Additionally, thanks to this display's ability to reach up to a 2,000 nits brightness value, it aims to deliver high visibility even under sunlight. The processor that will serve as the brain of the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which is developed with a 4 nm production process and stands out in terms of power efficiency. Expected to offer 8 GB or 12 GB RAM options and expandable storage up to 256 GB, the device will also feature 40W wired charging support.

In the camera department, one of the most competitive areas for smartphones, the HMD Skyline 2 is seen coming with serious hardware. It is stated that a 108-megapixel main camera sensor will serve on the back of the device, supported by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The model, which draws attention for having a significant upgrade in the ultra-wide sensor compared to its predecessor, will thus be able to take clearer and more detailed landscape photos. On the front, the presence of a 50-megapixel selfie camera stands out as a highly attractive detail for social media users and content creators. Looking at the Turkish market, it is known that HMD models are not frequently preferred in Turkey and the HMD Skyline was not sold in Turkey.
