Two Young People Lost Their Lives, Three Injured in a Fatal Crash in İskenderun

Two young people lost their lives in a traffic accident that occurred during the night hours in Dumlupınar Mahallesi, a neighborhood in the İskenderun district of Hatay. The Fiat brand car with license plate 31 BAR 719, traveling on Prof. Muammer Aksoy Caddesi, went out of control after the driver M.E.C. lost steering control for a reason that has not yet been determined. The rapidly moving vehicle crashed into roadside barriers and overturned. The severity of the crash rendered the car completely unusable, and upon notification from citizens in the area, medical and security teams were dispatched to the scene. This tragic event caused great sorrow in the region, plunging the families and loved ones into deep mourning.

While the identities of those who lost their lives in the accident were being determined, it was learned that the two deceased youths were 23-year-old Bestami Keleş and 19-year-old Sudenaz Menekşe. It was stated that despite all initial interventions made at the scene, unfortunately, neither of the youths could be saved. The other three individuals in the heavily damaged vehicle sustained various injuries and were taken to hospitals in the area. It was reported that the injured taken to the hospital were placed under treatment and their health conditions are being closely monitored. It was announced that the bodies of the young people who passed away in the prime of their lives will be taken to the Antakya district for burial procedures and will be handed over to their relatives there.
