Karadeniz Enez and Tuna Ruse Draw in Preparation Match

Çerno More, one of the well-established clubs of Bulgarian football, faced Tuna Ruse in their last friendly match of the summer preparation period. The match played at the Tiça Stadium in the city of Varna witnessed both sides testing their different game plans on the field. While the match ended in a 1-1 draw, it served as an important test for the teams to measure their form ahead of the new season. Prior to the start of the match, Çerno More officially introduced its 2026/2027 season squad to its passionate fans. Such presentation events revealed the strong bond between the club and its supporters and added great excitement to the upcoming competitive period.

With the first whistle of the match, the home team Çerno More took control of the game and established effective pressure on the opponent's goal. Within the first ten minutes, Zivko Atanasov intervened with a header on the ball coming from a corner kick, but sent the ball just wide of the post. A short time later, Miguel Barandas, who joined the penalty area from the right wing, tried his luck with a diagonal shot; however, he also sent the ball wide of the post. Çerno More goalkeeper Kristiyan Tomov barely deflected the hard shot that came from this attack. Tuna Ruse gained great motivation from this warning attack and found the goal they were looking for in the 37th minute, bringing the score to 0-1. Bringing the ball down to his feet inside the penalty area, Denislav Minçev got past the defending players and sent the ball into the net from a very close distance.

Nikolay Zlatev, Asen Donçev, Vasil Panayotov, Nikolay Kostadinov, and Emanuil Nyagolov were sent onto the pitch sequentially, completely changing the team's rhythm. In the 63rd minute, a second series took place where a total of eleven players from both sides were substituted, moving the match to a completely different dimension as a preparation game. These comprehensive rotations were the result of the determined work put in by the technical staffs to increase squad depth for the new season and to evaluate the performance of the players coming off the bench on the field.

The final quarter of the match witnessed highly competitive minutes where both teams fought hard for the win. In the 79th minute, Denislav Minçev from Tuna Ruse got very close to a goal by dropping behind the defense; however, goalkeeper Antoan Manasiev put in a very crucial intervention, denying the goal. Chasing the equalizer, Çerno More seized a great opportunity in the 90th minute with a header from a cross delivered by Petar Andreev from the left wing, but the Tuna Ruse goalkeeper deflected the ball to a corner at the very last moment. In the remaining time, the home team, known as the 'Sailors', displayed an extremely eager performance to find the winning goal and constantly put pressure on the opponent's goal. Despite all these intense efforts and the clear chances created in the final seconds, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, thus concluding the preseason preparations of both teams with a fierce struggle.
