Students studying at the consolidated school (RPI) in the Plancy-l'Abbaye region of France experienced the excitement of receiving their report cards with great enthusiasm after an intense and active year. Participating in various social activities alongside their classes throughout the year, the children accumulated unforgettable memories with both an educational trip and a traditional end-of-year festival before the holidays began. As part of the event, different programs were organized involving children from every age group, and the schoolyard practically turned into a festival ground. This special day, where teachers, parents, and school staff worked shoulder to shoulder, meant a huge celebration in the eyes of the children. Thus, the educational period ended with both a fun and an emotional finale.

For the students in the school's older grade levels (CE2, CM1 and CM2), the end-of-year trip was organized on 2 July. In this context, the students had the opportunity to visit the Museum of the Great War in Pays de Meaux (Musée de la Grande Guerre) by traveling to the Seine-et-Marne region. This cultural trip offered the children the opportunity to learn about historical events on-site and interactively, reinforcing the knowledge they gained from books. Tracing the marks of the past in a historical setting, the students both had fun and broadened their horizons. The trip proved once again that end-of-year activities are not just about entertainment, but also support personal development.

On the other hand, the educational trip for students in kindergarten and younger grade levels (maternelle, CP and CE1) had to be delayed for a while due to adverse weather conditions initially. In fact, the end-of-year festival was planned to be held at the end of June, but due to the extreme heat (canicule), the event was postponed to Friday, 3 July. Coincidentally, there was already another trip planned for the younger age groups on this date, and the little students also embarked on their own adventures. They set off on the school bus towards the educational farm (ferme pédagogique) in Champ-sur-Barse.

During the farm visit, the little students had a wonderful day acquiring practical knowledge about nature and rural life. During their visit, they watched the bread and butter making processes step by step and learned through their own observations. In addition, they experienced the activity of recognizing and feeding the poultry on the farm with great curiosity. Thanks to this hands-on educational model, the children stepped away from city life and engaged in a learning process in touch with nature. At the end of the event, after a full day of having fun and learning, they happily returned to their schools in Plancy-l'Abbaye.

Following the return of the younger students to school, the grand end-of-year festival began at 18:30, and colorful moments were experienced on the stage set up in the schoolyard. Each grade level garnered great appreciation by presenting the dance and song performances they had prepared all year to their loved ones, teachers, and school staff. One of the most emotional moments of the festival was when the school principal Christelle Briard presented diplomas to the primary school graduates (CM2). In the later hours of the evening, accompanied by Parent-Teacher Association volunteers and teachers, various game stands such as darts, fishing, and penalty shootouts were opened in the schoolyard. This magnificent night, crowned with gifts and raffles, lasted until nightfall and provided all participants with a wonderful send-off into the summer vacation.
