Samsung Introduces Budget-Friendly Galaxy M47 5G: 120Hz Display and 6000 mAh Battery

Samsung has officially announced its ambitious new model in the mid-range market, the Galaxy M47 5G. Targeting users who spend a large part of their day on smartphones and are looking for budget-friendly devices, this model promises to offer social media usage and intensive mobile gaming experiences simultaneously. The device offers a display experience that stands out from its competitors with its 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1400 nits brightness. Additionally, thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, it provides users with confidence regarding screen durability. Offering deep black tones and a vivid color palette, this screen creates an ideal foundation for both multimedia consumption and gaming.

In terms of power, the device is supported by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor developed with a 4 nm production process and the Adreno 710 graphics unit. This combination, which was previously preferred in the Samsung Galaxy A27 and A36 models, offers a balanced architecture that minimizes heating issues. The processor, which has a total of eight cores, activates performance cores during users' resource-intensive tasks, while using efficiency cores for daily routine tasks to preserve battery life. Looking at gaming performance; satisfying values such as an average of 57 FPS in PUBG Mobile, 60 FPS in Call of Duty Mobile, and 89 FPS in Mobile Legends Bang Bang are achieved. Reaching an average speed of 38 FPS in Genshin Impact, one of the games that pushes the system the most, clearly proves the device's power in the mid-range segment.

Battery life and charging technology stand out as one of the most striking features of the Galaxy M47 5G. Having a massive battery capacity of 6000 mAh, this model offers users long-term uninterrupted usage. Moreover, thanks to 45W fast charging support, the charging time of the device is significantly shortened. The phone, which offers a smart charging management system, directs power straight to the processor if a game is played while charging. Thanks to this smart distribution, excessive heating of the battery is prevented, and potential performance drops during gaming are avoided. Thus, gamers can continue to use their devices with maximum efficiency even while plugged in.

In terms of camera setup and software, the device is equipped to meet segment standards. On the back panel, there is a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, a 12 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture value welcomes users. Offered with 6 GB or 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM options, the device has 128 GB and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage and can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card support. The phone, which comes with the Android 16-based One UI 8.5 interface; also houses innovative features such as Google Gemini integration, Samsung Wallet, and Circle to Search, which allows searching by drawing a circle on the screen.

Regarding price and accessibility, the starting price of the device, which is launched in red and blue color options, was announced as 22.999 Rupi in Hindistan. Although this amount corresponds to approximately 11.343 TL at current exchange rates, it is estimated that its price could rise to around 21.000 TL with taxes and other costs if it enters the Türkiye market. However, since Samsung does not officially sell its current M series phones in the Türkiye market, it is noted that the likelihood of the Galaxy M47 5G meeting Turkish consumers is quite low. Despite this, it has the characteristics of being a potential preference for a large audience looking for a new smartphone with a powerful battery and a smooth screen while staying within their budget.
