In this context, it was stated that the rights of passengers with tickets purchased for 29 Haziran 2026 and before this date are guaranteed. According to the detailed statement made by the company, there are certain critical dates that passengers wishing to benefit from these exceptional rights must pay attention to. The relevant change and refund transactions are planned to cover flights between 6 Temmuz 2026 and 9 Temmuz 2026. Passengers must make their desired route or itinerary changes to their tickets by 16 Temmuz 2026 (inclusive). It was emphasized that if this timeframe is adhered to, no fees will be charged for reservation updates. Since standard tariffs may apply otherwise, it is of great importance for passengers to pay attention to the date limits.

Extensive conveniences have also been provided regarding ticket refund processes to ensure passengers do not face difficulties. In the official statement, it was expressed that no additional fees will be requested under the name of deductions for refund requests, and the transactions will be completed completely free of charge. In addition, an alternative solution has been offered for passengers who cannot travel but also do not want their money back. In this context, the validity period of tickets can be extended until 23 Temmuz 2026 without any fare difference or penalty. With this, passengers will have the freedom to take their flights at a suitable time on later dates.

The fees for extra services purchased by passengers for their flights, such as additional baggage, seat selection, or special meals, will also be refunded under the same conditions. However, it was noted that these practices are only valid for flights operated directly by Türk Hava Yolları. Therefore, passengers are advised to check the operating carrier of their flight before changing their reservations.
