Trabzonspor increases Fatih Tekke's salary to 150 million TL

Süper Lig side Trabzonspor made a significant financial update to the contract signed with their coach Fatih Tekke. The club management officialised the increase in the annual fee determined under the previous agreement via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the official statement, a serious increase occurred in Fatih Tekke's annual net fee valid for the 2026-2027 football season. The salary amount previously determined as 90 million TL for the start of the season was raised to 150 million TL following the new amendment. This increase points to an approximately 60% surplus in Tekke's salary, indicating that the financial opportunities provided to the coach have been expanded significantly.

In the detailed information made by the club to KAP, it was emphasized that there was no change in the main structure and end date of the contract, only the fee provisions were revised. It was clarified that the current technical director contract between Fatih Tekke and Trabzonspor will be valid until 30 June 2029 and only financial conditions were updated. This situation shows that Tekke continues to see the club as a part of a long-term strategy.
