President of the Presidential Commission and Minister of Transportation Francisco Garcés also shared important data regarding the quantitative results of the massive operation being carried out. It was reported that so far, approximately 5,000 to 6.000 buildings have been examined in detail across seven different states of the country. This comprehensive fieldwork was made possible thanks to the intensive training and preparation programs provided last weekend by the Venezuelan College of Engineers. It was noted that internationally accepted visual inspection methodologies were used during the examinations, allowing for the rapid determination of whether buildings could be immediately occupied.
