Japanese Yen's Depreciation Continues: Dollar Exceeds 162 Yen Level

After the Takaichi government took office in Japan last October, the yen's decline accelerated in the foreign exchange markets.

Along with the negative consequences of the exit from deflation policies, the 162 yen level was exceeded in the dollar/yen parity.
