NextBSD Project Revived with the Goal of Porting Apple Darwin Components onto FreeBSD

NextBSD, one of the most notable BSD variants of the 2010s, has been brought back to life under the leadership of a new developer.

The original project, initiated in 2015 by FreeBSD co-founder Jordan Hubbard, aimed primarily to port components of Apple's open-source Darwin operating system onto FreeBSD.
