Varandha Ghat in India Closed Until 31 August Due to Landslide Risk

Varandha Ghat, connecting the Pune and Raigad regions of India, has been closed to all vehicle traffic until 31 August due to severe landslides.

A section of the Bhor-Mahabud road between Waravand and Umbarde experienced landslides at four to five different locations in a single night.
