30 Cities Conduct DEAŞ Operation: 104 Suspects Detained

Gendarmerie teams conducted a simultaneous operation against the terrorist organization DEAŞ in 30 cities. A total of 104 suspects were detained. The operations were carried out under the coordination of the Republic Chief Public Prosecutors' Offices. It was determined that the suspects who were detained during the operations provided financial support to DEAŞ through terrorist organization-related individuals and so-called aid organizations, carried out the organization's propaganda through their social media accounts, and engaged in organization membership activities. While the procedures of the suspects at the gendarmerie are ongoing, it was reported that the investigation into the operations is continuing under the coordination of the Republic Chief Public Prosecutors' Offices.
