US Launches Airstrikes on Military Targets in Many Cities of Iran

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) officially announced that it has launched a new attack operation against military targets in Iran. According to information received through the Iranian press and state television, cities and ports located in many different provinces of the country were the targets of these air and missile attacks. The attacks aim to weaken Iran's capability to threaten commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Iranian media, explosions occurred in the military area south of Tabriz, and in the cities of Mahshahr and Behbahan in Khuzestan province. Additionally, it was reported that four explosion sounds were heard in Chabahar in Sistan-Baluchestan province, and US warplanes were flying in the region. Konarak, Sirik, the vicinity of Bushehr, and the western city of Kangavar were also among the areas included in the US attacks.

Following these attacks, precautions were increased in the capital, Tehran. The Fars News Agency announced that air defense systems were activated and fired in the east of Tehran. It was also shared that with these operations, the US has attacked Iran for 11 consecutive nights.
