Afghanistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan Signed 7 Million Dollar Trade Agreements

Companies from Afghanistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan have signed trade agreements covering construction materials, pharmaceuticals, food products, and agricultural services. According to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), the total value of the contracts amounted to 446 million Afghanis (approximately 7 million dollars).

The agreements concluded at a joint business meeting aimed at expanding commercial cooperation among the three countries. Business representatives also evaluated investment opportunities, discussing the strengthening of private sector cooperation and the increase of regional trade. However, the chamber's statement did not provide detailed information on when the agreements will come into effect or the individual commitments of the companies.

These developments are part of Afghanistan's efforts to strengthen its regional ties amid limited international recognition and severe economic challenges. In recent years, Russia and Kazakhstan have steadily increased their economic engagement with the Kabul administration across various sectors, such as energy, transportation, and agriculture, regardless of official recognition status.
