2026 DSE Exam Results Announced in Hong Kong: 24 Students Achieved Top Scores

The results of the 2026 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) Examination were announced on 15 July. This year, 24 students who achieved the highest score (5**) in 7 subjects broke records by reaching the country's highest level of achievement. This number exceeded the peaks of previous years and went down in history as an all-time record.

11 of these successful students earned the title of "super top scorer" by getting perfect scores in additional exams such as Mathematics Extended Part (M2) and foreign languages. The renowned Po Leung Kuk Lo Kit Sing Weekend School in the Sai Kung district experienced the pride of graduating its first super top scorer in the school's history this year. Earning this title for the first time, the school once again proved its quality in education.

Skye (Huang Layan), a student who is a source of pride for the school, chose a challenging curriculum consisting of heavy science subjects such as physics, chemistry, and computer science. Stating that she experienced a great surprise and excitement when she learned her results, Skye expressed that she spent the night watching the World Cup match and was sad that her favorite French national team lost to Spain, but her exam success alleviated this disappointment at least a little.
