German Ship Lost in World War II Found 83 Years Later

A German ship that went missing during World War II has been found 83 years later in the Ionian Sea. The most interesting detail about the ship is that it has been preserved in the state it was found, with almost no damage.

The ship was found after a long and special search by the AegeanTec team, based on archival documents from the German naval forces. The location of the ship is near the city of Preveza, at a depth of 96 meters, and it was found still standing.
