Sword Attack at School in Sweden

A person with a sword entered a school in Fagersta, Sweden, causing panic. At least one person was killed and several were injured in the attack. The attacker was taken into custody by the police.

The incident occurred at 14:06 local time at Brinell School. The Fagersta Municipality announced that police and emergency teams were dispatched to the area after a person with a weapon entered the school. Security measures were heightened in Fagersta following the attack.

Swedish Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer stated that the government is closely following the serious incident in Fagersta, and the police are working intensively in the area, with the government in constant contact with the security units.
