Pope León XIV to Hold Mass in Peru

Pope León XIV will hold a mass in Lima, Peru on November 16th. This will be the final event of the Pope's visit to Peru. The mass will take place at Base Aérea Las Palmas and is expected to be attended by approximately 2 million people. Pope León XIV will be in Peru from November 11th and will visit the cities of Chiclayo, Cusco, and Pucallpa during his stay. Although the exact time of the mass has not been confirmed by Peru's Foreign Minister Carlos Espá, it is planned to take place in the early hours due to the El Niño phenomenon. Pope León XIV is also scheduled to visit Uruguay and Argentina after his visit to Peru.
