Ukrainian Shock Message to Turkish Journalist

Kocaeli Gündem General Manager Abbas Çakar was shocked by an e-mail from Ukraine after writing an article about his brother Savaş Çakar's death. The e-mail stated that the deceased Savaş Çakar 'got what he deserved'. Abbas Çakar said this message made him even angrier and he will seek his brother's rights to the end. The attack occurred on July 21 in the Black Sea. The Turkish-flagged and unarmed cargo ship MV Reyhan Sarı was attacked by Ukrainian drones off the coast of Novorossiysk. In the attack, 54-year-old sailor Savaş Çakar, who was working in the engine room, lost his life, and 2 crew members were injured.
