US-Russia Space Crew Lands in Kazakhstan After 8-Month Mission

A US-Russia space crew has landed in Kazakhstan after an 8-month mission on the International Space Station (ISS). NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Russian cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev returned to Earth on the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft. The crew's 241-day mission was the first spaceflight for Williams and Mikaev, and the second for Kud-Sverchkov. Despite being rivals in the space race during the Cold War era, the US and Russia are collaborating on the space station and other projects.
