Yellow light accident in Istanbul: Audi driver rolled over at intersection, father's words were heart-breaking

The traffic accident that occurred on Akpınar Street in Altıntepsi Neighborhood of Istanbul's Bayrampaşa district caused great panic and shock in the region. Edip Durmaz, who witnessed the accident, clarified the course of the event by conveying the details of what happened and observing how the accident occurred technically. Durmaz stated that while he was passing the scene on a bicycle, the lights turned yellow and then red, but the Audi driver accelerated with the thought of 'I will make it'. He stated that the Audi could not adjust its speed and hit the vehicle waiting at the red light from the other lane hard with its front bumper. Adding to his words that the vehicle overturned due to the severity of the impact and stopped by hitting the sidewalk, and that the detached tires damaged the vehicles around, the witness stated that although the Audi driver expected the vehicle in front to wait, the other driver did not notice the situation and the accident turned into chaos in this way.
