Emphasis on Unity and Solidarity on Ashura Day in Nazmi Saatçi Neighborhood

In Nazmi Saatçı Neighborhood of Afyonkarahisar, the Ashura Program, organized for the third time this year to keep the spirit of Muharrem alive and strengthen social solidarity, was carried out with great enthusiasm. Hundreds of citizens gathered around tables set up in the neighborhood square, enjoying the taste of the same meal in an atmosphere of tolerance where differences blended in the same cauldron. This meaningful organization, which has begun to become a tradition, has turned into an important social activity that not only offers a meal but also strengthens bonds between residents and reinforces feelings of fraternity. The general aim of the event is to ensure that all elements of society mingle together against the individuality brought by modern life while carrying the cultural heritage from the past to the future, and to strongly shout out messages of unity.

Thousands of portions of ashura, prepared through the cooperation of association members and residents, were meticulously served to guests, during which the gastronomy association's experience in the city field was blended with the diligence of the neighborhood people. The residents expressed their gratitude to the supporters with certificates and words for both the delicious treats and the arrangement of the organization.
