Russian Attacks in Ukraine: At Least 13 Dead, 50 Wounded in Sumy, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia

At least 13 people lost their lives and 50 were injured in attacks launched by Russia across various regions of Ukraine. The attacks targeted the Sumy region in the northeast, the Odesa region in the southwest, and the Zaporizhzhia region in the south. According to information provided by officials, there are concerns that the number of dead and wounded in the region will increase.

More than four years have passed since Russia's military invasion of Ukraine began, and the conflict between the two sides has been escalating for months. Civilians in the region are paying the heaviest price of the war. According to United Nations data, the country is experiencing one of the periods with the highest number of civilian casualties nationwide.

While the Russian Defense Ministry announced that they targeted Odesa ports and logistics facilities, Ukraine has recently increased its retaliatory attacks against the Black Sea and Sea of Azov routes used by Russia for agricultural exports. Moscow has begun to consider changing its cargo transportation routes due to Ukraine's attacks.
