Jandarma Drug Operation in Yalova: 3 Suspects Arrested

In a successful operation conducted by the Yalova İl Jandarma Komutanlığı teams targeting drug manufacturing and trafficking, three suspects were arrested and sent to prison. As part of long ongoing planned efforts, jandarma teams carried out simultaneous operations in the Yalova and Kocaeli provinces. It was reported that technical and physical surveillance were meticulously conducted to apprehend the suspects. Based on the evidence obtained as a result of the operation, raids were carried out at the suspects' addresses. This operation went down in history as a significant step towards preventing drug trafficking in the region.

According to the information obtained, jandarma teams placed suspects named T.F. and M.İ., residing in the Altınova district of Yalova, under surveillance. Additionally, a suspect named M.K., located in the Karamürsel district of Kocaeli, was identified as being part of the same network. Security forces conducted days of technical and physical surveillance to monitor the suspects' movements. As a result of intelligence work, the suspects' addresses and possible escape routes were determined. After sufficient evidence was gathered, a decision was made to simultaneously raid all three addresses.

Within the scope of the operation, detailed searches were conducted in the suspects' homes and their annexes. During these searches, a total of 52 grams of metamfetamin was seized. Additionally, 2 special devices used for drug consumption were confiscated by security forces. The findings revealed that the suspects were not only involved in drug trafficking but also in drug manufacturing and use. The verification of complaint and intelligence data was among the details that reinforced the success of the operation.

The detained suspects T.F., M.İ., and M.K. were referred to the courthouse after the completion of their interrogation and legal procedures at the jandarma command. The three suspects, who appeared before the court, were tried on charges of 'drug manufacturing and trafficking' in line with the charges against them and the seized evidence. The judicial authorities decided to arrest the suspects and send them to prison. This development was welcomed by the local public in the context of the determination and success of the security forces.
