Natural cleaning at home with a mixture of white vinegar and bay leaves

White vinegar is one of the most common household cleaning products that helps remove mineral deposits, soap scum, and bad odors. To mask the strong smell of vinegar and spread a fresher scent into the environment, it is recommended to blend it with natural plants. One of the most frequently preferred methods for this purpose is mixing white vinegar with bay leaves.

This mixture can be used in many areas, such as cleaning the inner and outer surfaces of the refrigerator, wiping kitchen countertops, and tiles. It is also an ideal alternative for cleaning the shelves and drawers of empty cabinets or freshening up washed trash cans. The prepared liquid can be easily used on all washable surfaces in the house, such as door handles and windows.

To obtain a natural cleaning spray, 500 ml of white vinegar and 8 to 10 bay leaves must be steeped in a glass jar for between 7 and 14 days. At the end of the period, the strained mixture is diluted with an equal amount of water and transferred to a spray bottle. However, it should be remembered that this mixture does not replace a disinfectant intended to kill germs and bacteria.
