Rappler, JNBF award 2026 Aries Rufo Journalism Fellowship to 7 campus journalists

Rappler, in partnership with the Journalism for Nation Building Foundation (JNBF), has selected seven campus journalists for the 2026 Aries Rufo Journalism Fellowship. Now in its sixth cycle, the program honors the legacy of investigative journalist Aries Rufo, focusing on governance, accountability, and information integrity. The fellows, chosen from over 95 applicants, come from various regions in the Philippines and will receive mentorship from Rappler's veteran journalists. The four-month fellowship includes hybrid training and requires fellows to produce weekly community stories and a final long-form investigative piece on public resource accountability.
