Planned Power Outage to be Implemented District by District in Konya on 8 Temmuz

Comprehensive power outages will be carried out across Konya on Wednesday, 8 Temmuz 2026, as part of planned maintenance and repair work on the electricity distribution network. According to the statement made by the authorities, the main purpose of this work is to make the energy infrastructure more reliable, robust, and uninterrupted. The districts and neighborhoods to be affected by the outage have been determined in advance and presented to the public. Electricity distribution teams will cut power region by region at the designated hours for grid strengthening activities. Citizens are asked to organize their daily routines according to these planned outage hours and to protect their sensitive electronic devices.

In the Selçuklu district, the power outage will be implemented between 09.00 and 13.30 in the morning. The main reason for the outage in this area is maintenance and capacity increase work to be carried out on the main distribution line. In this context, the Yazır, Bosna Hersek, Sancak, Buhara, Akademi, Beyhekim, Kosova, Parsana, Hanaybaşı, Işıklar, Dumlupınar, Horozluhan, and Ardıçlı neighborhoods will be affected. On the same day, energy transmission line maintenance and improvement work will also be carried out in the Karatay district between 10.00 and 14.30. Power outages will be experienced in Fevzi Çakmak, Tatlıcak, Karaaslan, Ulubatlı Hasan, İstiklal, Kalenderhane, Akabe, Mengene, Şemsitebrizi, and Köprübaşı neighborhoods in Karatay.

The planned outage in the Meram district will take place in the afternoon between 13.00 and 17.30. The work in this district includes transformer maintenance and network renewal operations. Citizens living in the Alavardı, Aşkan, Harmancık, Çaybaşı, Kozağaç, Hatunsaray, Uluırmak, Gödene, and Kaşınhanı neighborhoods will not be able to use electricity during these hours. In the Ereğli district, the outage will be implemented between 09.30 and 15.30, and network strengthening and planned maintenance work will be conducted. The Orhaniye, Hacı Mütahir, Barbaros, Selçuklu, Ziya Gökalp, Namık Kemal, Cahı, Talatpaşa, and Türbe neighborhoods of Ereğli are among the areas that will be affected by this work.

In the Beyşehir district, the power outage is planned between 10.30 and 16.30. The focus of the work here will be transformer capacity enhancement and general maintenance procedures. The Hamidiye, Yeni Mahalle, Evsat, Hacıakif, İçerişehir, Dalyan, Bahçelievler, and Esentepe neighborhoods of Beyşehir will be affected by the outage. In the Akşehir district, the outage will occur between 11.00 and 18.00, and network renewal and maintenance work will be carried out. The Yarenler, Cumhuriyet, Meydan, Selçuk, Gazi, İstasyon, Seyran, and Yeni Mahalle neighborhoods of Akşehir are the residential areas that will be directly affected by the power outage.

The power outage in the Ilgın district will be implemented between 08.30 and 14.00, starting at the earliest hours of the day. Transformer maintenance and infrastructure improvement works will be carried out in this district, affecting the Cumhuriyet, Yeni, Hacıfettah, Karşıyaka, İstasyon neighborhoods, and the surrounding area of Konya Yolu. According to the statement made by the electricity distribution company, power will be restored after the planned work is completed. If the teams finish the work earlier than planned, it is also possible for the electricity to return earlier than the announced hours. It is of great importance for citizens to follow official announcements during the outage and rearrange their daily plans accordingly.
