Suspected killer of Mazlum İbiş, who lost his life in an armed attack in Diyarbakır, caught

In the tragic incident that occurred yesterday evening in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, a person was shot and killed by an individual with whom he allegedly had a feud. The incident took place on Eski Mardin Yolu as a citizen named Mazlum İbiş was traveling in his car. As İbiş's vehicle was moving, it was cut off by another vehicle, followed by an intense argument between the parties. As the argument quickly escalated, the suspect fired a handgun he was carrying. Mazlum İbiş, who was severely injured after being hit by bullets fired from the gun, was rushed to the nearest hospital by medical teams called to the scene due to the severity of his condition.

An intensive medical intervention process was initiated in the emergency room for the treatment of the wounded individual brought to the hospital. Doctors made all medical efforts to save İbiş's life. Unfortunately, he could not be saved and passed away due to the severity of his injuries. The hospital staff and İbiş's relatives, who received this bitter news, experienced great sorrow. Following the news of the incident, a wave of shock and sorrow also spread among the local community. Authorities announced to the public that a large-scale investigation was launched following the fatal incident.

To capture the attacker, who quickly fled the scene and disappeared after the incident, Diyarbakır Emniyet Müdürlüğü teams were mobilized. Police examined security cameras in the area and statements from eyewitnesses to identify the suspect and determine potential escape routes. As a result of the evidence collected and intelligence work within the scope of the investigation, a comprehensive operation was conducted at the address where the suspect was hiding. In the operation, the suspect, believed to have committed the murder and identified by the initials C.K., was successfully taken into custody.

Critical evidence was reached during the detailed searches conducted on the detained suspect and at the address where he was located. During these searches, the handgun believed to have been used in the incident was seized by security forces. Additionally, the clothes the individual wore during the incident and other materials were recorded as evidence. The suspect C.K. was taken to the police station, where he was interrogated by officials. Following his statements in the legal process, the individual is expected to be brought before the judiciary at the courthouse where he will be transferred.
