The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) organized a full-day creative workshop titled 'Discover Your Creativity'. Held at Red Hills in the Lakdikapul area of Hyderabad, the event brought together art lovers, students, hobbyists, and professionals. Participants found the opportunity to discover their creative potential in this unique format that brought the business world and art together. The workshop was designed to help participants learn how to integrate different branches of art into their daily lives by intertwining with them. It was observed that FTCCI organized such an event for the first time.

One of the highlights of the event was musician Jaywant Naidu, who is also an FTCCI member. Naidu gave a presentation on music, allowing participants to experience the connection between rhythm and mathematics. The musician emphasized that art is based on a logical foundation, stating that a single clap contains mathematical rhythms such as two, three, four, five, six, or seven. Additionally, Naidu stated that they organized this creative event so that working professionals and students could understand that music, dance, or visual arts can be a small part of their lives. The musician's statements also included that FTCCI plans to carry this format to communities and corporate companies.

B. P. Acharya, Chief Advisor of FTCCI and a retired IAS officer, delivered a highly impressive speech on the importance of empathy in management. Drawing on his years in government and his experience training approximately 2,000 officers, Acharya clearly demonstrated the difference between sympathy and empathy. Stating that sympathy is merely feeling sad for or pitying someone's pain, Acharya emphasized that empathy goes beyond this, requiring taking action to help that person. He also added that empathy cannot emerge without creativity, as a creative perspective is needed to understand others' problems. Before his speech, he reinforced the importance of the subject by showing the participants a TED presentation on empathy in management.

The visual arts session drew great interest, with participants moving beyond merely being spectators to engaging in practical application. Visual arts expert Jyotiramaya Pattnayak actively involved the audience by having them attempt live portrait drawings. Pattnayak drew attention to the universality of art, stating that an understanding of art is necessary in every aspect of life, even for placing items correctly in a house. During these practical exercises, a live sketch by Pattnayak and a caricature of Donald Trump drawn by Acharya in honor of Amerikan Bağımsızlık Günü were exhibited. This drawing by Acharya, who also participated in the event with his identity as a caricaturist and poet, received great appreciation in the closing minutes of the workshop.

The workshop demonstrated that art is not just a hobby, but also a tool that enhances creative problem-solving skills in the business world and professional life. Choreographer Prithvi Raj from Steps Dance Studio and Kuchipudi dancer NSL Praveena, specializing in dance and choreography, also participated in the event, representing different disciplines of art. The live portrait session, which also featured artist Manohar, allowed participants to interact directly with the artists. The event once again proved that experiencing art forms personally is very different and much more effective than just watching. This innovative step by FTCCI could pave the way for more creativity and empathy-focused initiatives in the business world in the future.
