Search launched for 2 missing youths in İznik Gölü.

In Bursa's İznik district, extensive search and rescue operations have been launched after two young people who entered İznik Gölü to cool down could not be reached for a long time.

The incident came to the agenda after no information could be given regarding the fate of 19-year-old Bünyamin Kadı and 21-year-old İsmail İmamoğlu, who entered the water due to the hot weather near the lake shore in the Sölöz Mahallesi neighborhood of İznik district.

Upon the realization that the youths had not come out of the water, citizens reported the situation by calling the 112 Acil Çağrı Merkezi, and a large number of teams were dispatched to the region.

After health, gendarmerie, and professional search and rescue teams reached the area, an intensive search activity was launched both underwater and from land to find the two youths.

While the efforts carried out by the teams to find the missing youths continue uninterrupted, it was also determined that an investigation and inquiry have been launched regarding the incident.
