Gunman on Motorcycle Opens Fire on Business Owner in Kütahya

In a violent incident in the center of Kütahya, a business owner was targeted in a armed attack by a person on a motorcycle. The suspect, reported to be wearing a helmet, approached 45-year-old R.Ö., who was walking on the road in Dumlupınar Mahallesi, and fired 4 shots with a firearm at the scene before managing to flee rapidly. Checks immediately following the attack revealed that the injured businessman's health was at risk due to a bullet hitting his leg.

The injured R.Ö. was taken to a private hospital by a friend's vehicle for emergency treatment after the attack. Upon notification of the situation, numerous police teams were dispatched to the scene, securing the area and launching a large-scale investigation. In the on-site work, it was determined that the bullets emerging from the attacker's fire hit the security booth of a nearby school.

Teams from the Kütahya Provincial Police Department Asayiş Branch are continuing intensive work to catch the attacker, who was determined to be wearing a red helmet. Police are examining security camera footage in the area to identify the suspect and determine their location. The damage to the school security booth hit by bullet fragments once again revealed the uncontrolled and dangerous scale of the attack.
