Türkiye to Welcome the New Week Under Two Different Weather Systems: Temperatures in the South to Reach 43 Degrees

The latest forecasts from the Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü indicate that Türkiye will come under the influence of two separate weather systems in the new week. Both a heatwave and a rainy system are expected to be observed across the country simultaneously. Therefore, the weather will show significant differences from region to region. While temperatures above seasonal norms will be effective in the southern and western regions, thunderstorms and downpours will dominate the weather in the northern regions. In particular, temperatures in the Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi are expected to rise to 43 degrees. In the Ege and Akdeniz coasts, thermometers are predicted to range between 37 and 41 degrees. Experts especially advise against going outdoors between 11.00 and 16.00 when the risk of sunstroke increases.
