Wide-Scale Power Outage Scheduled in İzmir on July 5: District-by-District Details

Within the scope of network renewal and maintenance works initiated throughout İzmir, planned power outages will be implemented in the city on July 5, 2026. A detailed work program district by district has been prepared by the authorized distribution company to avoid disrupting the daily life of citizens and to enable them to take necessary precautions. While wide-scale outages are expected in central districts such as Aliağa, Bergama, Bornova, Buca, Kemalpaşa, Konak, Menemen, Ödemiş, Selçuk, Tire, and Urla, citizens are in search of information regarding when the electricity will return.

In Aliağa, one of the regions affected by the planned outages, energy will not be available between 01:00 at night and 07:00 in the morning in Fatih neighborhood and certain streets. Similarly, in Bergama district, the Yenikent region will remain without electricity from 09:00 in the morning until 14:00, while Bölcek neighborhood will be affected by the outage between 10:00 and 17:00. Citizens in these districts need to adjust their work and school schedules, especially in the morning hours, according to this situation.

Within the scope of maintenance works carried out in Bornova district, a power outage will occur, albeit for a very short period, in Birlik, Çamkule, Gazi Osman Paşa, and Koşukavak neighborhoods. An approximately 15-minute power outage is planned between 02:00 and 02:15 in the aforementioned regions. Additionally, it has been announced that works will be conducted in Yunus Emre neighborhood between 09:00-12:00, and in Erzene neighborhood between 10:00-14:00 within the boundaries of Kemalpaşa.

Power will be interrupted between 14:00 and 17:00 in the afternoon in the Çiçekli, Karaçam, Kavaklıdere, and Yakaköy regions in the center of Kemalpaşa. Çınarköy, Kızılüzüm, Kemalpaşa Organize Sanayi Bölgesi, and the Cumhuriyet, İstiklal, and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk neighborhoods of Ulucak, which are connected to the same district, have also been included in the outage program for the 14:00-17:00 time slot. Industrial activities and households in these regions should consider the working hours.

Finally, planned outages will continue in Menemen district; a power outage will be applied in Hatundere neighborhood between 01:00 and 07:00 at night at the same times as Aliağa. There are works starting from early morning hours and continuing until midday in 29 Ekim, Ahıhıdır, and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods.
