Fatal traffic accident in Amasya: One dead, three injured

A tragic traffic accident occurred in the evening hours at the Gözlek village location in Amasya, resulting in the loss of one life and the injury of three people. Due to a collision between the car driven by Selami Ak and the minibus driven by İbrahim Akgül for a reason not yet determined, the 55-year-old passenger C. A. in the vehicle unfortunately lost his life. Upon receiving news of the accident, a large number of emergency aid teams were dispatched to the region due to the urgency and seriousness of the incident. The timely arrival of AFAD, gendarmerie, fire department, and health teams to the scene was of great importance for the injured to reach the hospital and for the evacuation of our citizen who lost his life.

Following detailed and meticulous checks at the scene by health teams, it was officially confirmed that C. A., who was a passenger in the car, lost his life. The injured who survived the same accident by chance, Halit B., Ahmet A., and Osman A., were taken to Amasya Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital after initial emergency interventions in ambulances at the scene. Official statements from hospital authorities regarding the severity of the injured individuals' conditions and whether there is a risk to their lives are awaited with great curiosity. After the investigations at the scene and the necessary legal procedures were completed, the body of C. A., who lost his life, was transported to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
