US Military Joins Nepal Flood Disaster Relief, Death Toll Exceeds 1,300

In Nepal, sudden floods occurred in the Trishuli and Bhote Koshi rivers due to a glacier collapse and landslide in the Himalayas.

More than 1,300 people lost their lives in the disaster, thousands are missing, and over 65,000 people were affected; roads, bridges, and homes were destroyed.
