12 suspects detained in fraud operation in 4 provinces centered in Eskişehir

As a result of a large-scale fraud operation centered in Eskişehir and covering four different provinces, 12 suspects were detained by security forces. During detailed searches conducted at the residences and workplaces of the suspects, a significant number of digital materials and documents, which could be linked to the crime, were seized. It was learned that the operation was carried out on the allegation that the suspects defrauded numerous citizens using technological means, and the investigation is being deepened.

It was reported that the detained suspects were referred to judicial authorities after the completion of their procedures at the police department. The referral to the courthouse was conducted for the purpose of taking their statements within the scope of the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office and performing necessary legal procedures. In this process, the organizational structure of the fraud activities and the status of the victims are being examined in detail.

Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that the gang used different methods to deceive people for financial gain, and that these methods progressed through promises they made or imaginary scenarios they concocted. It was stated that the operation was not limited to Eskişehir; simultaneous raids were conducted in other provinces where the suspects were active in an effort to decipher the organization.
